“Tenure” is a pop-up store takeover by Homage Year, a handbag brand founded by Atlanta-based accessory designer Antoine Manning. Homage Year, established in 2014 following an unforeseen tragedy, is a brand with a profound ethos—each piece, accessory, and object it creates is charged with sociopolitical intention.
The launch of Tenure marks the brand’s inaugural pop-up shop and in-store activation in the Bay Area. The event featured a full collection of vegan leather bags, merchandised in vignettes that told culturally relevant stories tied to the designer’s heritage.
